Hi Yara. I saw you on PBS on the Gourmet cooking show and was so impressed and so glad your cooking school has done so well. You deserve it. I wanted to tell you that the CIA is opening a branch here in San Antonio, Texas focusing on Central America. I thought this would be a good time for you to get something in our paper because the first classes begin this fall. I haven't worked in a while - have two children and am staying at home - but I know the food editor at the San Antonio Express News and would be happy to forward your press release if you want to email it to me or if you want to just email your contact info and I will forward it to her. I have thought of you often through the years and appreciate how kind you were to me in Boston. You are an inspiration to many I am sure. I want you to know I have also often thought of those wonderful baked yucca rolls with melted cheese. I tried to make them with yucca flour I bought here and they were not quite the same. Hope your family is well and again congratulations on your many accomplishments.

Fondly, Catherine Blanton Markette (from Boston University).
