Morning through mid afternoon is a boat trip (bring your bathing suits) to a nearby island to see manioc (one of Brazil's most important staple foods) milled and processed, followed by appetizer and beer or soft drinks at the island fishery and choosing and buying the fish for the afternoon's class.
Then we boat back to Paraty for the cooking class and the dinner. In the class, learn more about the origins of the ingredients and the traditions of the main regions and how the dishes are prepared with tips on simple ways to transform these dishes so that you can easily make them upon your return home.
During dinner, Yara continues your trip through the History os Brazil from the culinary point of view. End the dinner with Brazilian cafezinho or mint tea and a premium special aged cachaça.
